Pulse Shack was at the Pure Markt in Amsterdam

On Sunday October 28th 2018 Pulse Shack was present at a specialty food market in Amsterdam, in the lovely Park Frankendael. It was a very cold but sunny day and many food loving people came out to the mark to enjoy this beautiful autumn day outside. The Pure Markt is a perfect market for food lovers, as it is full of specialty products like pepper, organic fruit juices, baked products, cheeses, sausages and of course our beans, lentils and peas. What is awesome at the Pure Markt is that there are food trucks and picknick tables increasing the fun of the event.

It was great to meet so many of you and to exchange ideas on new and traditional recipes. The Lemon bean proved to be quite popular and was sold out quite quickly. Also the beautiful Wieringer bean was popular. And it was clear that the cold wind put people on the track of pea soup, in Holland called 'snert'.

It was also possible to win a prize. We filled a pot with beans and the guests were encouraged to guess the amount of beans in the pot. The person with the best guess was allowed to select two types of beans in the webshop of Pulse Shack. The chosen beans were sent to the winner and recieved with much enthousiasm.

It was great to be at the Pure Markt! See you next time, probably in spring.
